Greg Reid, Associate Writer Greg has authored 15 books for the education and travel sectors. He has worked with some of Australia’s most respected Publishing companies, including Macmillan, Addison Wesley Longman, Nelson, and Longman Cheshire.
Greg was also Publishing Manager – Maps and Guides at Universal Press, managing 12 editorial and production staff to create Gregory’s Guides and UBD tourism publications. Greg’s work has been regularly shortlisted for The Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing and The Children’s Book Council Book of the Year awards. He brings a wealth of expertise in copy-writing, editing, proofreading and publishing production to the Red Letter Agency.
Catherine Greenwood, Editor Catherine has over 20 years’ experience in the publishing industry, eight of those with CSIRO Publishing where she was Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Chemistry. One of Catherine’s current roles is in the part-time position of Production Editor of Chemistry in Australia, the monthly magazine of The Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
Catherine specialises in editing scientific texts and journals in the areas of general science, chemistry, physics and biology. She has extensive experience in editing science textbooks – mostly secondary school science books, but also academic texts. Catherine has also worked on other projects such as a guide for promoting refugee health and a handbook to improve responses to environmental health incidents.
Catherine offers Red Letter a range of editorial services for print and electronic products, including manuscript review, structural editing, copy-editing (on-screen editing and styling), and proofreading. Clients include educational and academic publishers and government agencies.
Catherine has a BSc(Hons) (University of Tasmania) and PhD (Chemistry) from Imperial College, London. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Editing and Publishing from RMIT and is a member of the Society of Editors (Vic.).
